The Myanmar Fighting Cocks are not just a football club, but a social club as well. We aim to create a fun and relaxed environment by hosting a number of Club events. Check back regularly for social activities in 2015.
Pre-Australia Day BBQ & Party - Sunday, 25th January 2015
The Myanmar Fighting Cocks AFC are hosting a pre-Australia Day BBQ (Monday is the actual day). Details are:
Place: Henry’s house, 26A Inya Road, Kamaryut Township
Time: 12pm onwards
Cost: 5,000 Kyats on the door for food (BBQ), plus cheap drink prices
Who: All Fighting Cocks, supporters, friends, girl/boyfriends
Bring: Swimming gear for some pool bombing/getting the rig out
Games: Tennis/cricket on the tennis court
Tunes: The 2013 Triple J Hottest 100 countdown (an Aussie Day institution - listening to the previous year’s hits)
Spread the word and get along on Sunday, everyone should be able to bring one friend. Will be a great afternoon. It’s a small fundraiser for the Club, so would be good to get a solid number down to throw some money our way.
